"Big-hearted Taylor dedicated his win to quadriplegic twins Gregor and Florian Keller, who had defeated him earlier in the week using blow-pipe darts and were presented with his trophy after the final."
Well I have been playing Darts now for over 20yrs and I have never seen anything like the bar I was invited to last night. Gordon Shumway and his friends decided after playing Darts in many bars to build their own bar mainly because they thought they were paying far too much for their drinks example in a local bar for 1 beer they might charge 4 Euros in their bar 1.50 Euros and they still make a profit. They have also set up a computer that when you put the score in Russ Brays voice comes over the speaker telling everyone the score its really funny.
The address of the bar is House of Darts the Town is Rodgau in County Hessen.
What’s so unique is it’s an office on the 3rd floor which they have converted into a bar if you log on www.unicorn-hessen.de they have a picture show showing how it was done believe me it’s unbelievable the young man in the wheelchair challenged me to a game and you want to see him with his blow pipe he played my son Chris first he went 137,137 then finished 70 in 2 so you can imagine how I felt I’m playing him next he went 180 then 44 out on me as well I’m glad I’m playing Mervyn King later and not him ( ha ha ) by the way I let his tyres down when he wasn’t looking.
So its Mervyn King tonight and I’m really looking forward to it these are the games that bring the best out of me so once again its head down tonight whoever wins has 3 games tomorrow if he wants to win the tournament so its straight back to the hotel for a early night.
See you later
